Frederic Voorn: Midzomernacht Concert voor Voedselbank Zutphen op 19 juni om 22h.

Het was een goede traditie geworden: Frederic Voorn luidde in de Zutphense IJsselsalon de zomer in met een Midzomernachtconcert. Nu sluit hij van eigen huis uit zijn muzikale Decamerone af en zoomt op 19 juni ‘nachtmuziek’ zoals de Mondscheinsonate en meer. De opbrengst van uw donaties gaat dit keer naar de Voedselbank in Zutphen!

Beste allen, Dear all (English text below),

Vrijdag 19 juni zal ik mijn laatste benefietconcert via Zoom geven. Het is het negende concert van een serie, begonnen begin april. Er is intussen veel geld opgehaald voor Artsen zonder Grenzen, Voedselbank Alkmaar, het Corona onderzoeksteam van het LUMC en het Rode Kruis.

Het concert op 19 juni is een midzomernachtconcert en begint om 22:00 uur. Het is een voortzetting van mijn traditionele midzomernachtconcerten, die ik ieder jaar geef in de IJsselsalon van Zutphen. De donaties zullen deze keer dan ook ten goede komen van de Voedselbank Zutphen.

Op het programma staan nachtelijke stukken: de Mondschein Sonate van Beethoven, Debussy’s Clair de lune, mijn eigen Clair de Nuit en nocturnes van Chopin, Gutmann en Glinka. Het concert duurt ongeveer 45 minuten.

Dear friends,

Friday, June 19, I will give my final benefit concert through Zoom. This will be the last of a series of nine concerts, which started at the beginning of April. We received many donations that have benefited several organizations, like Doctors without Borders, Foodbank Alkmaar, the Corona research team of the LUMC and the Red Cross.

The concert on Friday June 19 will be a Midsummer night concert and starts at 10 PM. It is a continuation of my traditional Midsummer night concerts that I give each year at the IJsselsalon in Zutphen. All donations will go to the foodbank of Zutphen.

The program consists of nightly pieces, such as the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven, Debussy’s Clair de lune, my own Clair de Nuit and Nocturnes by Chopin, Gutmann and Glinka. The concert will last for about 45 minutes.
