In June 2016 Aldona Bartnik finished her Master Study at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, specializing in the Early Music. She has developed her vocal skills working with Rita Dams, Peter Kooij, Michael Chance, Pascal Bertin and Jill Feldman.
Her academic research concerned Polish music. For that reason during studies in the Netherlands she regularly promoted Polish music, including organization of concerts and tour to Poland.
With the Wrocław Baroque Ensemble she has made four CD recordings devoted to Polish Baroque. In 2013 and 2015 two of them with Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki works were nominated to the prestigious Polish music award Fryderyk. The next album with compositions by Marcin Mielczewski is supposed to be released in 2016.
Her artistic activities concerns also a wide promotion of Polish music around the Europe, singing song recitals with two pianists – Clara Biermasz and Maurice Lammerts van Bueren, with whom she prepared program “Melancholia” dedicated to Polish art songs by Karol Szymanowski, Fryderyk Chopin, Witold Lutosławski, Ignacy Jan Paderewski.
Promotion of Polish culture brought her a nomination to the Polonus 2016 ( culture category ) – annual award granted by Polish community in The Netherlands.

Aldona Bartnik takes part in artistic activities of the Ars Cantus – Wrocław chamber ensemble specialized in the Early Music, under the guidance of Tomasz Dobrzański, with whom she recorded the Kodeks Wrocławski album dedicated to the Renaissance vocal music. This CD in 2016 was also nominated to music award Fryderyk.
With the Appolo’s Cabinet – group that was formed by students and alumni of the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, she had an English repertoire recital during the Utrecht Early Music Festival in 2015.

Aldona is interested in singing mostly the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical music both as a soloist and ensemble singer. She performs with the Collegium Vocale Gent, Vox Luminis, De Nederlandse Bachvereniging, Capella Cracoviensis, Wrocław Baroque Ensemble, Gabrieli Consort & Players, Netherlands Radio Choir under Giovanni Antonini, Fabio Bonizzoni, Philippe Herreweghe, Konrad Junghanel, Ton Koopman, Paul McCreesh, Andrew Parrott and Jos van Veldhoven. 2016 year finishes with having a concert tour in the Netherlands and United States of America singing the I soprano part in Mass in B minor by J.S. Bach, BWV 232 leaded by Ton Koopman.
Aldona’s artistic plan for forthcoming months contains performances and recordings with Wrocław Baroque Ensemble, Foundation Academy of Early Music from Stettin, La Risonanza under Fabio Bonizzoni, Vox Luminis and Netherlands Radio Choir.
