Takuto Takagishi – viool

Takuto Takagishi was born in Shiga, Japan in 1990. He completed his bachelor and master degrees on modern violin at Tokyo University of the Arts.

He joined Kuhmo Chember Music Festival (Finland), Pacific Music Festival (Japan), and Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival (Germany). As an orchestra player, He has played with many ensembles, such as Bach Collegium Japan, Orchestra Libera Classica, Yokohama Sinfonietta, and Ensemble Muromachi. Also, he is an active chamber music player. In 2018, He collaborated with students from The Juilliard School and played Clarinet Quintet by Mozart in New York.

He was awarded Shiga Prefectural Cultural Prize for the Next Generation in 2016.
He learned with Tetsuo Tozawa, Chiyoko Noguchi and Natsumi Wakamatsu.

He currently studies baroque violin with Ryo Terakado at The Royal Conservatoire in The Hague.
