Yuki Horiuchi began her studies on the violin with Kiyoshi Okayama at the age of two. She graduated with a Bachelors and Masters degree from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, where she studied with Wakamatsu Natsumi and received additional instruction from the famed conductor, Masaaki Suzuki. She was twice awarded the Acanthas Award, an award which is granted to music students who graduate with the highest ranking. She has performed major Baroque orchestras such as the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra. She has also performed and recorded the music of Corelli, Vivaldi, and Mozart with the Baroque orchestra of Enrico Onofri available on the Anchor Recording Label.
